War has begun. Arin is in the thick of it with untrustworthy new allies and the empire as his enemy. Though he has convinced himself that he no longer loves Kestrel, Arin hasn’t forgotten her, or how she became exactly the kind of person he has always despised. She cared more for the empire than she did for the lives of innocent people—and certainly more than she did for him.

At least, that’s what he thinks.

In the frozen north, Kestrel is a prisoner in a brutal work camp. As she searches desperately for a way to escape, she wishes Arin could know what she sacrificed for him. She wishes she could make the empire pay for what they’ve done to her.

But no one gets what they want just by wishing.

As the war intensifies, both Kestrel and Arin discover that the world is changing. The East is pitted against the West, and they are caught in between. With so much to lose, can anybody really win?

Omdöme: 

It was a satisfying and entertaining ending♡ i am happy that I read the third and last book. But I still don’t like the cover on this one, the only one that I liked where the cover of winners crime. In the beginning of this book i was not that excited to read this book, just because in the second book in the trilogy i got so annoyed when Arin did’nt understad that Kestrel had offered herself for him. He thought she was a liar, disgusting etc. Meanwhile Kestrel was in a bad situation. But when i actually started to read, i changed my mind, i liked the book more and more. In the final book of this trilogy,Arin and Kestrel got to know each other and fall in love from the start and this time,there were no lies and deception but bluntness and honesty. Perfect! The Winner’s Kiss is the best book in the serie and the best way to end a trilogy, it was completely perfect, (and faultless) like i mentioned in the beginning.

Omdöme: Den här serien är överallt på hela booktube, dels för att sista delen släpps snart eller har den släppts? Jag bara måste läsa den, jag blev lite misstänksam över själva handlingen, hon köpte slav och sen blir hon kär i slaven… Eh okej det här kan inte sluta bra.Men jag gillade faktiskt denna bok, fick dock en seg start som vanligt men det blev bättre och bättre ju längre man läste. jag kände på mig att Arin, slaven inte  var helt vanlig och jag hade rätt. Gillade att Kestrel kunde slåss, men hennes personlighet kanske inte var den starkaste. När hon märkte att hon började få känslor för slaven Arin blev hon en typisk tjej som i alla andra böcker och började tänka på honom hela tiden och kunde typ ge upp allt för Arin. Slutet var ett sånt slut så man vet inte vad som kommer hända men man bara måste läsa nästa del.

Omdöme: Nejmen gud inte en till jobbig mellan bok, ja svär jag blir alltid besviken på andra boken i en serie…Kestrel offrar sig för Arin som inte vet ett skvatt om vad hon gör, han tror hon inte gillar honom längre det blir bara värre och värre. Hatar att dom inte säger sanningen till varandra, dom undanhåller saker också. jag blev lite rädd i sista delen av boken att Arin skulle gilla en annan tjej eller kyssa en annan som Risha…

Under hela boken tänkte Kestrel och Arin på varandra 24h om dagen, blev jobbigt efter ett tag. Jag vet att många på goodreads har älskat denna serie och omslagen, själv gillar jag klänningarna tjejen har på omslaget men nja ansiktet kanske inte passar in.

Omg slutet jag dör vad spännande, chliffhanger nu måste jag ha sista delen!
