Handling: Seventeen-year-old Mercedes Ayres has an open-door policy when it comes to her bedroom, but only if the guy fulfills a specific criteria: he has to be a virgin. Mercedes lets the boys get their awkward, fumbling first times over with, and all she asks in return is that they give their girlfriends the perfect first time- the kind Mercedes never had herself.

Keeping what goes on in her bedroom a secret has been easy- so far. Her absentee mother isn’t home nearly enough to know about Mercedes’ extracurricular activities, and her uber-religious best friend, Angela, won’t even say the word “sex” until she gets married. But Mercedes doesn’t bank on Angela’s boyfriend finding out about her services and wanting a turn- or on Zach, who likes her for who she is instead of what she can do in bed.

When Mercedes’ perfect system falls apart, she has to find a way to salvage her reputation and figure out where her heart really belongs in the process.

Omdöme: Denna bok var en lätt och rolig young adult novel om att växa upp, allt flöt på i hela boken och jag underhölls över vår protagonist Mercedes aka Mercy. Boken tar verkligen fram det sexistiska i vårt samhälle, ex när hon blir påkommen med att ha legat med oskulderna (killarna) så blir Mercedes kallad för slampa osv och inte killarna som var lika mycket med som hon var.

Sexet var inte beskrivande . Det hade bitar , men ingen av dem krypa värdiga fraser . Sexet liknar vad det beskrivs som i YA .Vad jag verkligen älskade om denna bok var att det hade allvarliga undertoner , under huvudhandlingen .

Sammanfattningsvis tror jag att folk kommer att vara nöjd med slutet. Det var sant och ärligt och som alla andra gör hon misstag .

Omdöme: Jag har varit lite på och av med denna bok, har känt mig lite osäker på om jag faktiskt kommer gilla den och om det är värt att läsa. Men gud ja efter jag hade börjat läsa en bit så var jag fast. Jag gillade hur nära Jude var sina systrar men också sin far (och mor)

Jag fick en helt annan bild av Emilio Vargas än hur jag hade tänkt mig att han skulle vara. Det kan väl också bero på att man inte fick läsa alls mycket om hans liv/ kärleksliv. Men jag började gilla honom mer och mer, han är en charmig kille som jag gärna skulle haffa 😉

The book of broken hearts är både en känslomässig bok mycket beroende av när Alzheimers drabbar Judes familj , samt en gullig kärlekshistoria . Slutet var satisfying och passade bra.

Omdöme: Kai var en okej karaktär , och hon ville verkligen mer än något att hitta sin bror.  Det var en av sidorna jag gillade med Kai att hon inte gav upp om att hitta sin bror.

Jag tröttnade dock och inte brydde mig inte vad som pågick ibland .. Det fanns en viss romantik mellan Avan och Kai, men det kändes svag tills slutet. Tyckte inte om att Avan tydligen hade legat med en hög med människor både tjejer som killar, han hade alltså mycket sexuell experience medans Kai hade nada, 0 experience…  Men kommer antagligen läsa vidare eftersom jag älskar omslaget på andra delen i serien/trilogin.

Omdöme: Jag har läst hennes firelight trilogy innan och har rent sagt hatat serien. Men blev lockad över handlingen så beslöt mig ändå att läsa denna bok och ge Jordan ett nytt försök. Reign of Shadows är en retelling av Rapunzel om ni inte visste det, gillade att Luna var blind. Det gjorde boken mer intressantare, i början fick man se lite av hennes bad ass sida. Men sen senare i boken gick hon tillbaks till den typical girl. Det ända hon tänker på är Fowler genom hela boken i princip. Skulle inte rekommendera den till andra fantasy älskare.

Omdöme: Det första som jag tänker på är varför sjöjungfrun på bilden har en jäkla klänning, för det första är hon i vattnet och för det andra har hon en stjärtfena… Ser man på handlingen är den inte alls intressant, tappade intresset redan efter typ 10 sidor och gillade inte alls den här boken. Prinsen Mahdi är en stor idiot som man bara ser i början av boken, man får läsa att han har förändrats från att vara en blyga till a party boy. Serafina är en helt okej huvudkaraktär, hon är rätt mogen om man jämför med prinsen. Det är hennes Pov man får läsa ur och lära känna. Men eftersom jag tappade lusten redan i början av boken läste jag igenom Deep blue lite snabbare än vanligt bara för att få det gjort. Rekommenderar den inte

Omdöme: Holy crap detta var en förvirrande bok . Jag förväntade mig något helt annat. Vad jag inte gillar var mytologi som författaren försökte bygga upp. Drakar ? Stjärnor? Seriöst, someone is an actual star as in twinkling in the sky, shining and all. Författaren försökt faktiskt att blanda in en del av krigs historian i en roman om drakar och stjärn shifters… no way dude thats an awful combo. Plus att det blev lite av ett triangel drama, ännu värre. Allt blev så himla överdrivet så att det blev roligt, jag menar vem tänker att man kan vara en stjärna…

Omdöme: Yep det här är fortsättningen på Angelbound som jag läste för några månader sen, ville helt enkelt läsa fortsättningen. Tyckte den var rätt seg, det kretsade mest kring att Adair var sur över att Lincoln inte valde henne och ville ta tillbaks honom och hämnas i princip. Lättsam bok som man tar sig igenom på mindre än en timme om inte mindre, vår huvudkaraktär Myla är som alltid en kick ass girl och är sten tuff. Lincoln är väl rätt bra han också, men i första boken gillade jag inte han alls så mycket men han har blivit mycket bättre nu.

Omdöme: Jag måste säga att det här är nog min favorit i denna serie, åh vad jag shipar deras familj. Nu fick man dock inte se perioden dom fick Maxon, varken när hon blev gravid eller födde honom. Det var synd. I hela boken var dom tre så himla gulliga, #family goals Gillade att man fick se mer av deras magi eller vad man nu ska kalla det.Kommer absolut läsa spin off serien där man får läsa ur Maxons Pov och deras framtida dotter. Verkar inte som om Bauer skriver om någon av deras barns födelser.. nåja

Handling: Seventy-one days and seventy-one nights had come and gone since Khalid began killing his brides. This dawn, Khalid would mark the loss of the seventy-second girl, Shahrzad al-Khayzuran. Khalid didn’t know how many more of these dawns he could take. And there was something about this latest girl that piqued his interest. Not only had she volunteered to marry him, but at their wedding ceremony, she had seemed not the least bit afraid. In fact, what he had seen in her eyes was nothing short of pure hatred. She was about to lose her life. Why wasn’t she afraid? Why did she hate him so? He had never before gone to his wife’s chambers before her death at dawn. Tonight would be different.

Omdöme:

This story was way to short, only 9 page in print.. We got to see the very beginning from Khalid’s point of view. This tiny novella packs a punch of emotionals that makes me want to read ”The Wrath and the Dawn” all over again. Plus now I’m even more desperat to read The Rose and the Dagger. I would definitly recommend these very short novellas to those who have read ”the wrath and the dawn”

He and his men arrive to find the city in ruins, nothing but a maze of destruction, and Shahrzad is gone. But who could have wrought such devastation? Khalid fears he may already know the answer, the price of choosing love over the people of Rey all too evident.

Omdöme: This short story was very short, but it gave a glimpse into what happened after the events of The Wrath and the Dawn from Khalid’s point of view. I was happy to keep the action and romance going, even if only for a little while! I would love to read more from Khalid´s PoV asap! (well i know Ahdieh has not written anything more from Khalids Point of View if i am right, but i can pray that she do that)

Omdöme: Den här serien är överallt på hela booktube, dels för att sista delen släpps snart eller har den släppts? Jag bara måste läsa den, jag blev lite misstänksam över själva handlingen, hon köpte slav och sen blir hon kär i slaven… Eh okej det här kan inte sluta bra.Men jag gillade faktiskt denna bok, fick dock en seg start som vanligt men det blev bättre och bättre ju längre man läste. jag kände på mig att Arin, slaven inte  var helt vanlig och jag hade rätt. Gillade att Kestrel kunde slåss, men hennes personlighet kanske inte var den starkaste. När hon märkte att hon började få känslor för slaven Arin blev hon en typisk tjej som i alla andra böcker och började tänka på honom hela tiden och kunde typ ge upp allt för Arin. Slutet var ett sånt slut så man vet inte vad som kommer hända men man bara måste läsa nästa del.

Omdöme: Nejmen gud inte en till jobbig mellan bok, ja svär jag blir alltid besviken på andra boken i en serie…Kestrel offrar sig för Arin som inte vet ett skvatt om vad hon gör, han tror hon inte gillar honom längre det blir bara värre och värre. Hatar att dom inte säger sanningen till varandra, dom undanhåller saker också. jag blev lite rädd i sista delen av boken att Arin skulle gilla en annan tjej eller kyssa en annan som Risha…

Under hela boken tänkte Kestrel och Arin på varandra 24h om dagen, blev jobbigt efter ett tag. Jag vet att många på goodreads har älskat denna serie och omslagen, själv gillar jag klänningarna tjejen har på omslaget men nja ansiktet kanske inte passar in.

Omg slutet jag dör vad spännande, chliffhanger nu måste jag ha sista delen!

Omdöme: Den här serien har folk bara sagt gott om så jag måste ju också se och läsa vad det är dom nu hypar över. Jag fick en seg start, men det gick över efter ett par kapitel i boken. Jag tyckte synd om Cleo i början pga all denna hat hon fick, ingen gillade henne det är förstårligt men ändå. Älskar Cleos attityd, tar ingen skit och kan snacka för sig själv. Vi har Lucia som jag inte brydde mig om alls typ hon var lite tråkig. Hennes bror Magnus var lite jobbig också, han gjorde inte så mycket utan bara försökte dölja att han gillade Lucia hans syster… Och sen till sist Jonas, han var intressant att följa, hans och Cleos andra möte var riktigt spännande då hon blev fånga tagen av Jonas. Det komiska var att min farsa och hans brorsa heter Magnus och Jonas. Blev lite jobbigt med namnen men det gick över.

Blev förvånad att jag gillade boken faktiskt, början såg inte ljus ut men det klarnade

Omdöme: Det här var bara en jobbig mellan bok, fastnade inte alls för den. Cleo var inte alls lika underhållande, hon är fast i sitt eget hem och hon är rätt jobbig och rädd just nu. Men det som faktiskt underhöll mig var Lucia och Alexius relation, man fick också veta mer om henne och vad för krafter hon har. Magnus var densamme som han var i förra boken, feg som vanligt. Jonas fortsatte också på vad han skulle göra, döda kungen.

Hoppas de andra böckerna blir bättre

Omdöme: Det här var en gullig tonårs bok, Rochelle var ganska skön. Gillade att hon åtminstone var populär, eftersom det står att hon aldrig kysst någon. Älskade hennes och Lee´s vänskap så himla härlig. Friendship goals. Noah var the typical bad boy, han var helt ok tyckte inget särskilt om honom men han var snygg of course och populär. Slutet var rätt skevt, kändes inte så jätte romantiskt. Men den var ok

Omdöme: Vad ska jag säga, jag vet inte varför jag ens lånade den här boken. Men jag läste den i alla fall, jag gillade början att Clio var lite dryg, men i resten av boken var hon inte det utan öppnade upp sig och fick känslor för en viss person… Ni kan ana hur det slutar, lyckligt slut. Blev förvånad över att Elsa var halv svensk xD

Omdöme: Som sagt älskar jag allt som har med övernaturligt att göra och nu var det gargoyles/Wardens och demons som var med i denna bok. Själva konceptet var inte nytt för mig ,den har jag hört flera gånger. Visste nästan direkt vem hon skulle välja, ganska självklart. Sen var Roth så jävla het, men eh hans namn störde mig lite Roth tyckte inte jag passade han. Älskade när Roth och Layla hade sina heta stunder, gulliga. I hel het var boken en ända berg och dalbana, det hände alltid något. Karaktärerna var himla sköna, Layla hade attityd som jag gillade starkt men alldeles för pure för min smak.

Omdöme: Andra delen i en serie brukar oftast inte vara bättre än första boken, men den var faktiskt rätt bra för att vara andra boken. Nu började deras lilla triangel drama ta fart och gå mig på nerverna, Layla tänkte alldeles för mycket på vem hon skulle välja och hon sa förlåt för många gånger (det blir värre i sista boken) När Roth avisar Layla går hon vidare till Zayen, men jag kunde ana varför Roth sa som han sa där. Alltid samma visa, så synd om barndomsvännen som alltid säger sina känslor för sent för då är hon redan tagen av en annan kille. Ja ni förstår säkert vad jag menar om ni läst hela serien.

Ormen Bambi blev en favorit i denna bok, men även Zayne.

Lite väl förutsägbart men annars väldigt bra, gillade att boken gick lätt att läsa inga sega stunder och såklart heta killar.  Lika högt tempo som förra boken

Omdöme:Innan jag började läsa boken så var jag rädd att hon skulle vela mellan Roth och Zayne genom hela boken och sen i slutet välja vem av killarna som hade fångat hennes hjärta. Men som tur var valde Layla det i början av boken så man slapp all triangel drama. Nu kretsade boken helt på att ta död på Lilin, på vägen dit får man reda på en massa nya saker om bl,a, Layla att hon egentligen inte är en demon eller Warden/gargoyle.

Kan lova er mycket action och känslor. Jag shippar Roth och Layla och har gjort det genom hela serien. Layla är riktigt badass och bevisar att hon kan stå på egna ben.She faced the hardships she faced without being a coward, which was very very different than how she used to be.

Måste bara skriva att i slutet blev jag lite rädd att Zayne och Laylas bästa vän Stacey skulle typ bli ihop pga dom började chatta med varandra… det får inte hända!

Hela serien är helt amazing och slutet var epic, Jla har gjort det igen!

Handling:

Pram Bellamy is special–she can talk to ghosts. She doesn’t have too many friends amongst the living, but that’s all right. She has her books, she has her aunts, and she has her best friend, the ghostly Felix.

Then Pram meets Clarence, a boy from school who has also lost a parent and is looking for answers. Together they arrive at the door of the mysterious Lady Savant, who promises to help. But this spiritualist knows the true nature of Pram’s power, and what she has planned is more terrifying than any ghost.

Omdöme: Den här boken läser man ut väldigt snabbt, den är anpassad till unga läsare men också till äldre läsare. Huvudkaraktären Pram finner jag underhållande, intressant värld hon lever i, älskar hur nära hon och Felix är ,och såklart Clarence som blir vänner med dom också. Blev skit rädd i slutet att båda killarna var förlorade, men som tur va klarade dom sig.

För att sammanfatta det hela kort så handlar boken om vänskap, minnen, att acceptera, finna sanningen och gå vidare med livet. DeStefano har verkligen gjort ett bra jobb med att få ihop en bra spök historia.

Charley Davidson is a part-time private investigator and full-time grim reaper. Meaning, she sees dead people. Really. And it’s her job to convince them to ”go into the light.” But when these very dead people have died under less than ideal circumstances (like murder), sometimes they want Charley to bring the bad guys to justice. Complicating matters are the intensely hot dreams she’s been having about an entity who has been following her all her life…and it turns out he might not be dead after all. In fact, he might be something else entirely. But what does he want with Charley? And why can’t she seem to resist him? And what does she have to lose by giving in?

Omdöme: Jag försöker hitta någon lika bra som ex True blood och the night huntress serien, man ser spår av likheter men denna bok håller inte måttet tycker jag så blev besviken. Charley har attityd med sarkastisk humor det är det som jag gillar med henne. Relationen mellan Charley och Reyes var het, men hade önskat hade det hade blivit lite mer men det finns flera böcker kvar så det kommer antar jag.  Jag vet inte vad jag ska säga om denna bok men den dög, skulle nog inte rekommendera den.
