Mini recensioner

Titel: Jesses girl

Författare: Miranda Kenneally

Serie: Hundred Oaks

Sidor: 302

Handling: Everyone at Hundred Oaks High knows that career mentoring day is a joke. So when Maya Henry said she wanted to be a rock star, she never imagined she’d get to shadow *the* Jesse Scott, Nashville’s teen idol.

But spending the day with Jesse is far from a dream come true. He’s as gorgeous as his music, but seeing all that he’s accomplished is just a reminder of everything Maya’s lost: her trust, her boyfriend, their band, and any chance to play the music she craves. Not to mention that Jesse’s pushy and opinionated. He made it on his own, and he thinks Maya’s playing back up to other people’s dreams. Does she have what it takes to follow her heart—and go solo?

Titel: Dream a little dream

Författare: Kerstin Gier

Serie: Silber#1

Sidor: 322

Handling: Mysterious doors with lizard-head knobs. Talking stone statues. A crazy girl with a hatchet. Yes, Liv’s dreams have been pretty weird lately. Especially the one where she’s in a graveyard at night, watching four boys conduct dark magic rituals.

The strangest part is that Liv recognizes the boys in her dream. They’re classmates from her new school in London, the school where she’s starting over because her mom has moved them to a new country (again). But what’s really scaring Liv is that the dream boys seem to know things about her in real life, things they couldn’t possibly know–unless they actually are in her dreams? Luckily, Liv never could resist a good mystery, and all four of those boys are pretty cute….

Titel: Jewel

Författare: Amy Ewing

Serie: The Lone City#1

Sidor: 358

Handling: The Jewel means wealth. The Jewel means beauty. The Jewel means royalty. But for girls like Violet, the Jewel means servitude. Not just any kind of servitude. Violet, born and raised in the Marsh, has been trained as a surrogate for the royalty—because in the Jewel the only thing more important than opulence is offspring.

Purchased at the surrogacy auction by the Duchess of the Lake and greeted with a slap to the face, Violet (now known only as #197) quickly learns of the brutal truths that lie beneath the Jewel’s glittering facade: the cruelty, backstabbing, and hidden violence that have become the royal way of life.

Violet must accept the ugly realities of her existence… and try to stay alive. But then a forbidden romance erupts between Violet and a handsome gentleman hired as a companion to the Duchess’s petulant niece. Though his presence makes life in the Jewel a bit brighter, the consequences of their illicit relationship will cost them both more than they bargained for.

Men sen, no way ingen likhet alls. Dock var det hans jobb, Violet var the pure one… well you can se whats coming next. As usual i am really tired of these kind of stories so i am not gonna read the next book in the serie.

Jag ger den              2/5

Titel: Breathe, Annie, Breathe

Författare: Miranda Kenneally

Serie: Hundred Oaks

Sidor: 306

Utgivning: 2014

OBS SPOILERS kan förekomma!

Handling: Annie hates running. No matter how far she jogs, she can’t escape the guilt that if she hadn’t broken up with Kyle, he might still be alive. So to honor his memory, she starts preparing for the marathon he intended to race.

But the training is even more grueling than Annie could have imagined. Despite her coaching, she’s at war with her body, her mind—and her heart. With every mile that athletic Jeremiah cheers her on, she grows more conflicted. She wants to run into his arms…and sprint in the opposite direction. For Annie, opening up to love again may be even more of a challenge than crossing the finish line.

I am not that impressed, the story is same as always, the girl falls for a boy that has been with many girls/womens and he wants to fall in love. they both are starting to like each other, you know how it ends. I did quite like both Jeremiah and Annie, they were sweet but also a bit annoying sometimes. It was a bit sad that we did´nt get to know Jeremiah that much, i mean more how he felt and what he had done in the past, some dark secrets maybe 😉 no but seriously, i missed to read from another PoV than Annies all the time. This book is a story about finding yourself after loss and learning to love. This is not one of her best books, my favorite is actually Jesses girl and not Catching Jordan or this one.

I give it                3/5
