Jackie is surrounded by the enemy-loud, dirty, annoying boys who have no concept of personal space. Okay, several of the oldest guys are flat-out gorgeous. But still annoying. She’s not stuck-up or boring-no matter what they say. But proving it is another matter. How can she fit in and move on when she needs to keep her parents’ memory alive by living up to the promise of perfect?
My thoughts:
| This book was kinda annoying, i knew from the beginning who Jackie would end up with. I hate that she started to feel something for Cole, wtf like just don´t. She is the none experienced girl and on top of that Cole is the freaking playboy that is sleeping with every girl and guess what he also starts to like her… But it was not all bad, i liked the big family and how nice they where, well not to Jackie in the beginning but later. My favorit character was Nathan, i want him as a brother! Well duh i also want to be in that family of course, who dosen´t want to live with eleven handsome boys? Okay not everyone was grown up but in the future.
Jackies new friends seemed false just because the only thing they talked about where how hot the Walter boys where and how lucky she was to live with them and so on… I thought they just wanted to be friends with her only because she knew the Walter brothers and lived with them so they also could be near them. Jackie where kinda stupid sometimes for an example, she let her be fooled by everyone and trusted the boys all over again. But what i liked about Jackie was that she chanced when she started to live with the Walter family, i liked her more and more each day. I liked her attitude in the end of the book when she had some spirit and shouted back and made at least something to fight back and not just stand there like a fool. I expected more from this book. Maybe my expectations where to high. The ending was satisfying, so thats why i give it two stars it could have been worse;) I don´t know if i am gonna read the next book in the serie, we will see;) |
